SUMMARY:Introduction to Canning July 13
DESCRIPTION:Join us for this Introduction to canning workshop Saturday July 13 from 1:30 -4 pm at the Grayson County Gate Center Kitchen.  We highlight both water bath and pressure canning.  I confess\, I am a rank amateur  when it comes to pressure canning.  So let’s learn together!  We will make water bath pickles and pressure can some beans. Canning is great way to preserve your hard work in the garden so you can enjoy it this fall and winter.  This is also a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the facility at the Gate Center. $15 covers the cost of supplies and everyone will take home a jar of pickles and beans. Please RSVP to Michelle at director@graysonlandcare.org or 276-768-0597 so we can have enough supplies. Class is limited to 15 people.
