We are pleased to have Robin Suggs, the new Procurement/Grower Manager for the Agroforestry Program developed by Appalachian Sustainable Development, join us July 20 as our featured speaker. After a brief GLC update, Robin will talk about non-timber forest products and woodland medicinals in particular. ASD has created a state of the art facility for aggregating and processing these high value native plants while also creating a frame work to ensure they survive into the future by rewarding farmers to use sustainable practices with a higher price for their product.
