It’s so exciting to be open again, watching people find just the right item to take home! A gentleman who raises peacocks was thrilled to find a large mirror with a plastic frame; he puts mirrors in their pen because peacocks love to look at themselves. 🙂 And a set of 1950’s Fire King dishes brought one of our older customers to tears. She said “My mother-in-law had those dishes and I had hoped to get them, but her daughter wanted them. And now, here they are!” She was over the moon to have a complete set of those memorable dishes.
Remember, we now have a medical lending library for those with temporary needs for equipment – like knee-replacement surgery! When you no longer need them, just return to us. Please spread the word that we have canes (including quad canes), walkers, shower chairs, bedside commodes, and crutches. No wheelchairs yet, but I’m sure we will get some eventually.
