Alice Cox is the featured speaker Monday April 18 at 7pm. for the monthly Grayson LandCare presentation in the 1908 Baldwin Auditorium. Alice is one of the advisors for the Grayson County Future Farmers of America program and a teacher in the Agriculture program at the Grayson County High School Cate Center. Agriculture is the most important economic driver in Grayson County and there are over 200 students in Agricultural Education courses at the Cate Center from Grayson County High School and Independence Middle School. These students are an important part of the bright future ahead for the agricultural industry in Grayson County. Cox will discuss the National FFA Organization, better known as the Future Farmers of America and why it is a core component of school based agricultural education.
