Join GLC at the New River Soil and Water Conservation District’s New River Hill Farm for our September meeting and presentation. From HWY 58 turn onto Beechwood Rd. Stay on Beechwood until you come to Englewood Rd. Use 1939 Englewood Rd for navigation. Once you arrive at the house with high tunnel behind it, please continue down Englewood Rd to the big red barn for parking. We will start EARLIER than usual due to shorter fall days. Please arrive by 5:45, the tour will start promptly at 6 pm. Tim Phipps will provide wagons with haybale seating for the trip down to the newly acquired river frontage and back up to the barn. Please email [email protected] to RSVP so we know if we will need 1 or 2 wagons.
