We are happy to bring Elizabeth Underwood back to Independence to help us get ready for Clean River Month in August.  Elizabeth is Director of New River Conservancy.  She will speak about  the New River Hill Forest, our 174 acre land acquisition in Grayson County, and an overall update on NRC.   Join us July 17 at 7pm at the Baldwin Auditorium of the 1908 Courthouse, the presentation is free and open to the public.
