August meeting features tours of the School Garden and Food Independence

You can drive or carpool to the Independence Elementary School and tour the kids garden. Next we'll head over to Food Independence to tour the Food Pantry.
Free Market Christmas Shop
Gate Center 122 Davis Street, Independence, United StatesThe Annual Free Market Christmas Shop will be held in the Gate Center. 11am-1pm is just for kids-"elves" will assist kids to pick out a gift for family members. 1-3pm the shop is open to everyone. It's all free and the Cate Center Culinary class will serve hot chocolate and cookies.
