The FREE MARKET is celebrating its first anniversary! We had no idea how this venture would work out, but it has been very successful, both in giving people an incentive to clean out closets and pare down their “stuff,” and providing a great place for others to browse and find things they can use. Amazingly, the inflow and outflow stays pretty steady, with lots of cleaning, sorting and arranging by our hard-working volunteers.
If you haven’t visited yet, please stop by during our regular hours: Wednesday & Thursday 1 – 5 pm, Friday & Saturday 10a – 2pm. If you would like to volunteer for a 4-hour shift, please contact Kathy Cole [email protected].
Join us on Monday, October 22 a workday where we will sort and plan how to display the huge amount of holiday items we have stored.
