I know many of you helped with Rocks the River and were looking for other ways to support Grayson LandCare activities. GLC is a major Fair sponsor this year and we’d love to have as many members as possible help us make the Fair a fun and safe event this year.
The Grayson County Fair committee is proceeding with planning the Fair. There are LOTS of opportunities to volunteer! We’ll start cleaning up on Wednesday August 11, we’ll be taking entries on Thursday August 12, and helping vendors and exhibitors set up Thursday August 12, and Friday August 13 and Saturday August 14 mornings. We’ll also need folks on both days of the Fair to help with social distancing and other activities. And we will need help Saturday afternoon returning fair entries. We are thrilled to feature Alecia Nehls’ winning entry of the Fair poster contest on our advertising and t-shirts this year!
