The Independence Farmers Market will be able to begin the season in Town Park. We have several new vendors this year and most vendors are returning. We’ll miss Cameron and Jane Christensen with Baywood Forest, they have moved out west. And Ed Chopin, Copper and Corks is taking the year off.
We are counting on everyone to follow the Governor’s orders and wear masks and practice social distancing. We’ve been working with Paul Hoyle of Grayson County emergency services to see what other measures we might need to take.
Sometime in July we’ll be moving to Courthouse street while the Town starts construction on a multi-use pavilion.
