Grayson LandCare is excited to announce our 15th Annual Meeting, Potluck and Auction! GLC was incorporated April 13, 2007 and with the help of our members, we have accomplished so much! We added our first project, the Independence Farmers Market in 2012 and we are proud to continue to support them as well as the Permaculture group and Food Forest, The Free Market, Food Independence, the Independence Elementary School Garden and the Grayson County Seed Library.
You are invited to help us celebrate our 15th year at our Annual Meeting, Service Auction and Potluck dinner Monday, October 17, 2022 at Cox’s Chapel Community Center, 1639 Cox’s Chapel Rd, Mouth of Wilson, VA 24363 from 5:00-8:30pm. The tentative schedule for the evening includes a silent and live auction, dinner, 15th Birthday Toast, and our business meeting with the election of officers.
Come learn more about LandCare and support our initiatives in the community.
Everyone is welcome! Please bring your friends and an appetite!
The main course has been generously donated by members of the Grayson LandCare Board. Our wonderful members are asked to bring a side, salad, or dessert to share.
The auction allows talented GLC members to offer dinners, gardening, guided hikes, classes and more to raise money to fund our ongoing projects. Would you like to add an item to the auction? Here’s the form and information on how to donate.
