This Saturday, November 13th, we will participate in “An Appalachian Christmas” at Matthews Living History Farm from 11 am – 3 pm. We will be giving away beautiful Christmas cards – we have HUNDREDS of cards, of all kinds — and old-fashioned decorations.
We are hoping to have our Free Gift Shop this year but are waiting to find out the Town’s plans. This is the perfect time to donate those gifts you never used, so someone else can enjoy them! Also a request for our friends who knit and crochet: We are collecting HATS again this year, all sizes.
We will re-open on Wednesday, December 1 and resume our schedule of 10-2 on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Masks will be required and only 10 people in the store at a time. We are still receiving donations each Tuesday 1-3. Until then, a very Happy Thanksgiving to all our volunteers and customers!
