The annual meeting, auction and potluck Monday October 18 at Eagleview Event Center was a wonderful evening. The food was fabulous, the conversation was lively (even through masks!), and we had a very successful silent and live auction, raising $5540 for Grayson LandCare and $1355 in memberships for 2022. Special thanks to Chris and Joy Butler, who donated the use of this amazing venue and helped in many ways, and to Charlotte Hanes, who provided the entrée, grass-fed meatloaf for the whole crowd. Thanks also to everyone who donated their time and talent to the auction and to everyone who bid on the wonderful items and services.
Kathy Cole was thanked for her 7! years as GLC president and new officers were approved by acclamation. The full board for 2022 will be: Meagan Helmick-president, Charlotte Hanes-vice president, Janet Braithwaite-treasurer, Michael Jenkins-secretary, Laura Dunlevy-communications. At large members are Heidi Breedlove, Matthew Greene, Ann Watson, Caroline Clough and Jackie Hayter.
