The Town of Independence is still going to plant the park this Saturday, October 5th. We will not do anything Friday. We realize that there are a lot of needs in the entire county right now. Many are volunteering in other places and trying to clean up their own homes and property. We have to get these plants in the ground now or lose them and are going ahead. If you are so inclined, please join us, breakfast and lunch will be served. Town park at 9:30 but come on anytime you can get there!
