Learn about the soil food web and techniques for improving your soil health, including cover cropping and composting. The workshop includes a demonstration of how to create your own compost pile.

Part 2, June 13 9-1pm:In this workshop we will explore Permaculture methods for building a food forest, planning fruit tree guilds, and using water with swales and rainwater catchment systems.
Part 3 July 11 1-4 pm: Design your homestead for abundance and discover how to utilize your forest and garden for herbal medicines
