Grayson LandCare is sponsoring a “People’s Choice” Hay Bale Contest again this year to promote the Grayson County Fair.
The winner receives $200. Round and square bales are welcome.
There are only 2 rules:
1) There must be a sign with “Grayson County Fair August 7-8” in the picture.
2) Photos must be received by July 20
New this year, Bottomley’s Evergreens has donated several round bales located at their warehouse in Elk Creek, where the fair is held, that are available to the public on a first come basis to make it easier to enter.
All photos will be posted on Grayson LandCare website, www.graysonlandcare.org and the Grayson County Fair website, www.graysoncountyvafair.com
The community will be invited to vote for their favorite July 25-August 2, the winner will be announced at the Fair, Saturday August 8 at noon.
