In case of rain, both events will be held at 3419 Gold Hill Rd. If you did not RSVP, we regret that we can not add you to dinner. River Ridge Farm has offered to grill burgers before our meeting on the 19th for Grayson LandCare members. Not a member? No problem, bring cash or a check, we won’t be able to run Square at the location. It’s $15 individual, $30 family and $100 for a supporter membership. Please rsvp by July 15th at 5pm so we’ll be sure to have enough food for everyone. Email firstname.lastname@example.org or call or text 276-768-0597.
Our regular meeting will begin at 7pm when Jay Dunbar will lead the group on a tour of the berry farm and answer questions on berry cultivation. Who knows, if berries are ripe, he might let us pick a few.
Directions: Travel west on 58 for approximately 2.5 miles. Take a left onto Battlefield Dr. just past Rixey’s Store which is also on left. Travel on Battlefield Dr. until you reach a kind of Y- intersection at which you bear left onto Bridle Creek Road and head towards the New River. Go over the river on the low water bridge there at the public boat landing. Take the first dirt driveway at the hay barn on the left just up for the bridge. Follow the road around to the left of the barn and onto the berry patch.
