On Friday, December 2nd, the Free Market Christmas Gift Shop will be set up in the GATE Conference Room from 3-7 pm, as part of the big town celebration (Farmer’s Market, Tree Lighting, and arts & crafts vendors at the 1908). All year, we save new and like-new items that would make good Christmas gifts and make them available for people who might have a hard time affording gifts for their loved ones and friends. The first two hours are reserved for children and teens, with “elves” to help them choose gifts and bags to hide them in. From 5-7, anyone can come, and we hope many parents will come to get gifts for their kids, as we have LOTS of great kid gifts to choose from.
