Susan Mitchell and I had a great time modifying the Farmers Market Grow More Vegetables calss for the 4th grade. Kids had the opportunity to model a vegetable garden using various objects in the raised beds in the garden to help plan what we’ll be planting this year.
The pizza pans are a stand in for broccoli, cups for green beans, poker chips are carrots and radishes, buckets are peppers and flowers and the cardboard discs are tomatoes.
