The Permaculture group will be hosting 2 workshops on June 21.
Join the permaculture group from 10- noon June 21st at the Permaculture garden at Church of the Good Shepherd located at 9441 Grayson Pkwy, Galax, VA 24333, for a workshop on composting & water harvesting; and herbal salves & tinctures!
We will demonstrate a few different styles of composting and explore ways to capture rainwater for irrigation.
Afterwards, we will forage plants from the food forest and prepare them to eat, make a salve and a tincture. $10 payable the day of the workshop covers the cost of supplies.
The Permaculture group also hosted a Kids Day on May 31.
