Join us SATURDAY, October 18, 5:30-8:30 pm at the Goodwill Grange #959, 840 Grange Hall Road, Troutdale VA, 24378. Doors open at 5:30 pm. Becca of Backwood Bean will provide the heavy hors d’oeuvres this year. Some menu items include barbeque sliders, chicken kabobs, smoked trout dip and a range of desserts.
Thank you to everyone who donated fabulous auction items this year. These include: a broom by master craftsman John Alexander, Barbara Moncrief will be donating a a beautiful quilt , catch some fish with angler Kevin Strawn, enjoy dinner meal with Dean & Paul, a honey basket from Beartree Farm, a box of Farmers Market products, Casey Johnson will offer an arborist consultation, a weekend stay at the Garden Cottage, the ever popular load of firewood from Hap Alexander, and more!
The auction is our primary fundraiser. It’s also time to renew your membership or become a member. We’ll be adding new board members, thanking Tom and Anita Simpson for their years of hard work with Food Independence, and highlighting the impact GLC and our projects have had on our community this year.
